We finally did it, we sold our house in Pleasant Grove, UT. We actually signed the closing papers on Saturday while we were in Utah for the State Championship races, but I didn’t want to jinx it by celebrating prematurely. Today the funds were deposited in our account and we’re back to only having one mortgage to contend with. We both can breathe a little easier now. We’re also glad we sold it on our own (no real estate agents). After a minor bit of negotiating, we were able to get what we wanted from it. A nice older couple from California purchased it to be near their kids and grandkids. I’m sure they will love the home and the neighborhood. Even though we love our house here in Eagle, we do miss the incredible views and privacy of our former home high on the Pleasant Grove bench.
