The road race today was south of Milwaukee, near Alpine Valley’s course from yesterday. Since we are staying north of Milwaukee, we had another long commute to the races. The weather was overcast with it spritzing at times. After my performance yesterday, I decided not to do today’s road race. I want to make sure I recover between efforts as this is a peak week for me to get ready for the Boise Twilight Criterium. Heather had more teammates today and she managed to get into a break that looked promising, but eventually, it was caught. She had bad positioning again for the finish so she was just out of the money and points in around 21st place.
