Uhl had the amazing experience of seeing a real live in the wild black bear today. He did our favorite climbing ride up to Bogus Basin ski resort. He had the heart stopping experience on the descent. Uhl rounded a corner to find a big black bear in the middle of the road. Uhl slowed down and then wondered if that was the right thing to do. The bear stared at Uhl and then ran off the road into the woods. As Uhl rode by, the bear was looking at him from the woods. Uhl then worried that a cub was up the road and he would incur the wrath of the bear. Luckily that didn’t happen, so Uhl proceeded on without further problems. That now increases our awareness of bears living in Boise.
