Adjusting the Training Plan

Eagle, ID — After being tired for most of last week I decided to adjust my training plan and make this a recovery week. I was supposed to have another 19-hour build week but I think that would have put me in a huge hole. Not to mention, the weather isn’t supposed to be cooperative this week. I decided to shorten my Build periods into 3-week cycles instead of four-week. To compensate I will do one more shortened period. The net effect is that I’ll end up doing about the same volume over the whole phase, but will have an extra recovery week. Let’s hope it works…even though I’ve taken it easy these last two days, I’m still feeling fatigued. Let’s hope a whole week will be enough to get over this hump.
