20071208cropWhen I started riding today my legs felt awful! I spun easy for five minutes but it didn’t seem to get better. So I did a 5-minute “blow-out” effort. After that, I rested a few more minutes then launched into an LT interval. I kept my cadence steady this time; no shifting up and down except to stand up and stretch my legs every 10 minutes. My wattage wasn’t too hard to keep up, but I had to concentrate on it. By the time I got to 20 minutes, I didn’t feel the need for a break so I just plugged along and did a 1×40 min interval.
