90/90/90…in Reverse

20071217cropToday I did a variant of the 90/90/90 workout I did a few weeks ago. This time I did the L6 intervals first, VO2 second and finally finished it off with the 20-minute LT. I think I like this order better; I was able to achieve better power on the L6’s. But, interestingly my VO2’s weren’t that great, yet my LT was about the same. This may be a confirmation that my VO2 has indeed weakened. But at this time of year, I’m not really concerned. With my new job and schedule, I may be re-thinking starting the season off with Valley of the Sun as I had the last couple years. Then again, I really like that race and could just go down and treat it as a training race. We’ll see!
