Heather and I did the Hamilton Corner–Emmett loop today. Originally we were planning to go all the way to Horseshoe Bend, but as we headed north on Substation Road, we could see rain off in the distance and we decided to head back to Eagle.

It was already a cold ride by that point. What was supposed to be a sunny, 62°F day, turned into a cold, damp one. Even heading south on Hwy 16 to Eagle, we still got sprinkled on a bit but at least it was warmer there. The first three hours of the ride were pretty darn cold. Even though the stats don’t show it, it felt like a long, tough ride.
